PATHWAYS AND STEPS

*Pass Thresholds for each step must be met and will be clearly outlined

*Insurance transcription does not included the "Initial Work" step

Application

Allegis has different contract opportunities
for various levels of experience. Our single
application process will ascertain:

  • Base transcription skill level
  • Grammar, spelling, and punctuation knowledge
  • General availability to meet production minimums

Entry Points & Experience Paths

When there is a good potential fit, an interview will determine the best match for the type of transcription work and the appropriate entry point.  Generally, the entry points are:

  • Level I
  • Experienced
  • Specialized

Depending upon the entry point, we will direct candidates to the quickest path to getting to work.  For some this will lead to entry-level jobs, for others an entrance assessment will verify specialized experience brought to the table, and for others, it will be referral links to opportunities to gain or re-fresh transcription experience.

Quality Development

No matter the entry point, Allegis welcomes transcriptionists to the team through a quality development program. This program pairs transcriptionists with a coach, shares quality standards, and provides exercises and assessments to ensure that expectations are met in independent work. Upon successfully completion of the program transcriptionists are set to accept jobs. Candidates are paid for assigned transcription files in quality development.

“Michelle truly went above and beyond the call of duty for being a coach. She kept me informed of the process and her answers were always prompt and she explained them in a clear manner. The notes for training were helpful and she always made it a point to tell me where in the guide I could find the information she was discussing with me.”
