  • Grammar, spelling, and punctuation knowledge
  • General availability to meet production minimums

Entry Points & Experience Paths

When there is a good potential fit in these areas, an interview will determine the best fit for the type of transcription work and the appropriate entry point.  Generally, the entry points are:

  • Level I
  • Experienced
  • Specialized

Depending upon the entry point, we will direct candidates to the quickest path to getting to work.  For some this will lead to entry-level jobs, for others an entrance assessment will verify specialized experience brought to the table, and for others, it will be referral links to opportunities to gain or re-fresh transcription experience.

Quality Development

No matter the entry point, Allegis welcomes transcriptionists to the team through a quality development program. This program pairs transcriptionists with a coach, shares quality standards, and provides exercises and assessments to ensure that expectations are met in independent work. Upon successfully completion of the program transcriptionists are set to accept jobs.
